Terms and Conditions

1.Who Can Use EVNT

• EVNT is intended for college students, clubs, student councils, and organizers to discover, list, and manage campus events.
• You must provide accurate information (including a valid phone number for OTP verification) when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

2.Account Types

• Students/Attendees: can browse events, register, pay for tickets, download tickets and certificates.
• Club/Organizer Accounts: can create and manage their own events, registration forms, and view their own registrations, subject to Super Admin approval where applicable.
• EVNT reserves the right to approve, suspend, or remove any account or event listing that violates these Terms.

3.Event Listings

• Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy of the event details they list (date, venue, pricing, rules, prizes, etc.) and for actually holding the event as described.
• EVNT is a platform that facilitates event discovery, registration, and ticketing. EVNT does not organize, endorse, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any event listed by a third-party organizer.
• Organizers must not list events that are illegal, fraudulent, or that violate any college, university, or local regulation.

4.Payments

• Paid event registrations are processed either through our third-party payment gateway partner (Cashfree) or, for certain flows, via a manual QR-code payment with screenshot verification.
• Ticket prices displayed to attendees may include a platform fee and applicable payment gateway charges, in addition to the amount set by the organizer.
• All payments are subject to our Refund Policy.

5.Tickets and Entry

• A confirmed ticket is your proof of registration for an event. You are responsible for presenting your ticket (digital or as otherwise instructed) at the event for check-in.
• EVNT is not responsible for entry decisions made by event organizers or venue staff at the event itself.

6.Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false information during registration or event creation
• Attempt to bypass, hack, or exploit the platform's registration, payment, or ticketing systems
• Use the platform to harass, defraud, or harm other users
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
• Resell or transfer tickets in a manner not permitted by the organizer

7.Intellectual Property

The EVNT name, logo, design, and platform content (excluding organizer-submitted event content) are the property of Hype Social Network Private Limited and may not be used without permission.

8.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EVNT and Hype Social Network Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses related to event cancellations, changes, or disputes between attendees and organizers.

9.Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or misuses the platform, with or without prior notice.

10.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Ludhiana, Punjab.
