How to Create Your First Event on EVNT

07 Oct 2026

Creating your first event on EVNT is simple. Learn how to set up event details, registrations, payments, team size, certificates and submit your event for review.

Creating an event is more than just choosing a date and venue.

Organizers also need to manage registrations, participant details, capacity, payment settings, team size, contact information, posters, and sometimes certificates.

EVNT Manager brings these parts together in one place.

If you’re creating an event on EVNT for the first time, here’s how the setup works.

START WITH THE BASICS

Every event begins with clear information.

Inside EVNT Manager, create a New Event and start by adding the basic details participants need to know.

This includes:

- Event Title
- Tagline
- Category
- Venue
- Date and Time
- Capacity
- Organising Club
- CTA Button Label

You can also add a custom URL Slug if required.

These details form the foundation of your event page, so make sure everything is correct before moving ahead.

FREE EVENT OR PAID EVENT?

Not every event follows the same registration model.

EVNT Manager allows organizers to configure the Payment Mode while setting up the event.

If participation is free, simply enable the Free Event option.

For paid events, configure the relevant payment settings according to your event requirements.

Before submitting the event, always verify the registration price and payment setup carefully.

A small mistake here can create confusion for participants later.

INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM EVENT?

Some events are meant for individual participation, while others require teams.

The Team Size option allows organizers to define how participants will register.

For an individual event, the team size can be set to 1.

For a team-based competition or activity, set the size according to the event rules.

This makes the registration structure clear right from the beginning.

GIVE PARTICIPANTS A CONTACT POINT

Questions before an event are normal.

EVNT Manager includes an event-specific Help Contact Number field.

This number can be used as the primary contact for participants who need assistance regarding the event.

Choose a number that organizers can actively respond to during the registration period and around the event date.

BUILD YOUR REGISTRATION FORM

Different events need different information from participants.

EVNT gives organizers the flexibility to configure their registration form according to their requirements.

Basic fields can include:

- Full Name
- Email
- Phone Number

Each field can be marked as Required when participants must provide that information.

Need something more specific?

Use the Add Field option to collect additional information relevant to your event.

This means a workshop, sports tournament, coding competition, cultural event, or college fest can each have a registration form suited to its own needs.

ADD YOUR EVENT POSTER

The event poster is one of the first things participants notice.

Upload a clear poster that represents the event properly and includes the most important information.

Before moving ahead, check that the poster is readable and displays correctly.

A good event page should not only provide the right information — it should also make the event easy to recognize.

PLANNING TO ISSUE CERTIFICATES?

Some events provide participation or achievement certificates.

EVNT Manager includes Certificate Settings, where organizers can specify whether certificates will be issued for the event.

If certificates are part of your event, enable the option during setup.

If not, simply leave it disabled.

Setting this correctly in advance helps keep the event workflow organized.

REVIEW BEFORE YOU SUBMIT

Once the event setup is complete, don’t rush to submit it.

Take a minute to check everything again:

- Is the event title correct?
- Is the date and time accurate?
- Is the venue correct?
- Is the capacity correct?
- Is the team size right?
- Is the payment mode configured properly?
- Is the help contact number correct?
- Is the poster displaying correctly?
- Are the registration fields complete?
- Are the certificate settings correct?

A quick review before submission can prevent a lot of unnecessary corrections later.

SUBMIT YOUR EVENT FOR REVIEW

Once everything looks good, click Submit for Review.

Your event will then move forward through the EVNT review process.

After the event becomes live, organizers should also open the event page once from a participant’s perspective and verify that the information displayed matches what was entered during creation.

Checking the live page before sharing it can help catch any last-minute mistakes.

A SMOOTH EVENT STARTS BEFORE EVENT DAY

The participant experience doesn’t begin when they arrive at the venue.

It begins when they first open the event page.

Clear information, correct registration settings, proper participant fields, accurate payment setup, and an easy way to contact organizers can make the entire journey smoother.

EVNT Manager helps organizers set up these essentials in one place — so they can focus less on scattered information and more on running a better event.

Create your event. Review the details. Submit it on EVNT.
