Meet the Founder - Prince Singh

Prince Singh, a 20-year-old CGC student, built EVNT to fix how college events are run — from paper registers to a real digital platform.
Meet the Founder — Prince Singh Built EVNT at 20
Every campus has the same story on event day: a long queue outside a classroom, someone's notebook doubling as the registration list, and a WhatsApp group that nobody can find the payment screenshot in. EVNT exists because one student got tired of watching that happen.
Prince Singh is 20 years old, a BTech CSE (AI/ML) student, and the founder behind EVNT. He didn't set out to build "a project." He set out to fix a problem he kept running into on his own campus — events that deserved to feel special, running on tools that were never built for them.
The Problem That Started It
Ask anyone who's organized a college fest, hackathon, or cultural night, and they'll tell you the actual event is the easy part. The hard part is everything before it: chasing registrations across spreadsheets, verifying payments one screenshot at a time, printing tickets, and hoping the entry line doesn't turn into chaos.
Prince saw this pattern repeat across events he was part of, and it stuck with him. Not because it was a big, dramatic failure — but because it was a small, everyday one that nobody had bothered to fix.
Building EVNT
So he built EVNT — a platform where a college or a club can put up an event, customize exactly what they need to know from a registrant, and let people register, pay, and get a real digital ticket without a single spreadsheet involved. No bloated enterprise software. No generic form builder that feels like it was designed for a corporate HR team. Just something built the way a student would actually want to use it.
That's also why EVNT looks the way it does — every event is presented like a ticket stub, because that's what an event should feel like: something worth keeping, not just another line item in a Google Form.
Why Age Was Never the Point
Prince is 20. He'll tell you that himself, plainly, without treating it like the headline. The point was never "look what a 20-year-old can do." The point was building something that actually works for the people using it — and if it happens to come from someone still finishing his degree, that's just where good ideas sometimes come from.
What's Next
EVNT started on one campus, solving one very specific, very familiar problem. The plan is simple: get it right here first, keep listening to the students and organizers actually using it, and grow from a platform that works for one college into one that works for many.
This is only the first chapter. Follow along as EVNT — and the story behind it — keeps unfolding.
